Introduction

An experiment at Scumlabs has gone horribly wrong! Three innocent people have been transformed into monstrous, man-eating, machines of destruction! In Rampage, you and your friends control George the giant ape, Lizzie the oversized lizard, and Ralph the humongous werewolf are on a smash and bash thrill ride through the cities of the U.S. and Canada. Crush tanks, smash pesky helicopters, and chow down on annoying soldiers!

Rampage is one of the best and most original games ever created and has appeared on several consoles including Atari 2600, NES, and Sega Master System. The game was remade into Rampage: World Tour, which spawned a sequel Rampage 2: Universal Tour. While the remake has a lot of nice new features, the game lost a lot of feel in the building smashing department. So much so, in fact, that I think it's worse than the original. In my opinion, Rampage: World Tour (and Universal Tour) are the part of the ever increasing trend of style over substance in video games.
